Neopren skørtet er produceret i en kombiantion af 3mm neopren og neopren/nylon. Neopren skørtet er super vandtæt og designet til at holde vandet ude i extreme forhold, som under rulning eller brækkende bølger. Skørtet er udstyret med et elastisk gummibånd der holder skørtet fast til cockpit karmen indtil man udløser det i grebet.
Kombinationen af materialer udnytter det bedste i begge materialer. Nylon torsoen giver åndbarhed og er behageligt, mens neoprenen giver en tæt samling med kajakken. Skørtet er udrustet med seler og en lille lomme til småting

Air bag/outrigger
Kayak paddling is one of the most growing outdoor activities in the world. This is great, but it also increases the chances for accidents to occur. To help to prevent these accidents, all SeaBird Designs kayaks have a unique self-rescuing system.
Many different methods are already on the market, such as Eskimo Rolling, and paddle floats, however, the work of many of these methods doesn´t always work in 100 percent. This is because these methods do not take consideration of why you fell out of the kayak in the first place. If you go around in a kayak because of bad weather and with the help of a paddle float, manage yourself inside the kayak again, you will still have to paddle in the same weather. The risk of going around again is big. Therefore, we will recommend you to have a stabilizing help, like ours, with you. This system can also serve as a stabilizer if you want to go fishing, take a picture, UV-hunting, swimming from the kayak, change your clothes, eating etc. It also makes it much easier to enter the kayak from the shore. Our system is also very easy to assemble.

Kayak with patongs set is much more stable on water. In case you have capsized far from the shore it is easy to get back in the kayak and it will allow you to continue your journey or to paddle to a safe place. The patongs safety systems are very useful if a paddler has suddenly got into more difficult conditions such as gale, wind, rain, high waves, etc.
